The Middle School Student Council consists of members in grades 6-8 and serves as a representative voice of the student body. In order for students to join, students must fill out an application and submit it to the blue office. QRMS students should be in good academic standing and a role model for other students. Members of the middle school student council will work as a team to make decisions and accomplish goals. Representatives will develop: leadership skills, collaboration skills, responsibility, commitment, communication and creativity. Student council representatives will attend one to two Tuesday flex block meetings a month. Representatives will participate in planning and implementing community service opportunities and activities for middle school students ie: school dances, spirit weeks, Q-munity closet drives. The ultimate goal of the Student Council is to create a positive and engaging school environment that reflects the interests and needs of the student body and the Quabbin community.
