Quabbin Regional Middle School English Language Arts
Students in grades 6-8 take English every year as one of their core courses. Quabbin’s curriculum for grades 6-8 is based on the HMH Into Literature program. Students are provided with their own copies of the HMH Into Literature student text for their grade level. Additionally, students can access digital resources on the HMH Ed Platform to support their learning. At each grade level, teachers weave in longer texts aligned with unit themes in order to build reading stamina and foster a love of reading. All students in Quabbin Regional Middle School should read for twenty minutes every night as their regular homework.
