Mrs. Abigail Rigney will be joining the Quabbin Regional Middle High School team as the Building Principal for Grades 6–12. Mrs. Rigney previously worked as a Wellness teacher for Grades 7–12 and, for the last nine years, has served as an Assistant Principal at both the middle and high school levels.
Mrs. Rigney resides in Barre with her family and expresses a deep love for the Quabbin community. She is most looking forward to meeting our students and truly getting to know each of them as individuals. In addition to building strong relationships with students, she is equally committed to supporting our dedicated teachers and partnering with families to create a positive and inclusive school environment where all learners can thrive.
Mrs. Rigney will begin her time with us on July 31, 2025. She plans to reach out to families and students upon her start, as she is eager to learn more about your experiences here at Quabbin and work together to continue building a strong school community.
