The QRMHS School Counseling Department is comprised of School Counselors and School Adjustment Counselors. All students are assigned a School Counselor. School Counselors are responsible for supporting academics, scheduling, social-emotional concerns, and post-secondary planning. School Adjustment Counselors work with students who require more intensive social-emotional support. They provide crisis intervention, individual counseling, and/or group counseling to navigate a variety of stressors and/or personal difficulties. School Counselors and School Adjustment Counselors work collaboratively to support students within their houses/grade bands.

School Counseling Department Mission
The School Counseling Department is dedicated to helping students prepare for young adulthood by empowering them to reach their fullest potential. Through collaboration with families, school staff, and the community, our program supports the development of academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and workplace readiness skills necessary for lifelong success.
